Why assume the truck driver’s behavior was due to his race, rather than, say, mental illness. When a white person does something similar (and high speed chases with police aren’t all that uncommon) we generally look for some characteristic unique to the individual to explain his behavior. Aren’t black people entitled to the same treatment?
