Well, there is one relatively simple fix: passing stricter gun laws. Countries with stricter gun laws, and fewer guns in circulation, have less gun crime. Australia did it after a mass shooting, and now the public there accepts the wisdom of that choice. Meanwhile, the rest of the world looks at us with horror and wonders why we don’t just do the obvious.
