True, but that shouldnt mean turning a blind eye when our leaders (or candidates for office) unambiguously embrace anti-democratic rhetoric. That’s what JD Vance has recently done by praising the book Unhumans by Jack Prosibiec. The content of the book is unashamedly fascist, as was Vance’s blurb in praise of it.
