The Judicial Watch case (845 F.Supp.2d 288) aka the sock drawer case, has nothing to do with this case.

That case concerned personal records, not official documents. The former litigation director for the National Archives, Jason Baron, has said the Trump case is completely different.

Furthermore, trump didn’t have 89 days. He had a year and a half. I don’t know where you’re getting the 87,000 docs figure. A year after the archives requested them, Trump turned over 15 boxes, representing about two thirds of the total that would eventually be recovered. Twenty odd boxes is a perfectly mangeable amount to have Trumps lawyers look through within a reasonable period of time.
