That’s a good point. I think too much is invested in this word “love,” as if being “in love” is like being pregnant. But emotional connections are spectra, not binary phenomena. Perhaps what i should have said was that the idea is to wait until you meet someone with whom you want to invest the time and effort to cultivate a deep emotional bond, and let sex be part of that process.
