Oh, we absolutely have quacks on the left. The difference, however (at least in the last twenty to thirty years), is how much more easily fringe ideas migrate into the mainstream on the Right as opposed to the Left. At this point, on the Right the fringe IS the mainstream, while on the Left it remains (thankfully) sequestered from the mainstream.
