None of those "accomplishments" were controversial bills that wouldn't have been passed by a different president.

And many of the trends you talk about (crime, gas production) are either things that develop largely independently of the presidency (because they're mainly driven by local factors) or are larger trends that also would have occurred anyway.

But wrt your claim that liberal policies aren't beneficial, I don't know how you can argue that the ACA and Medicaid expansion haven't been hugely beneficial.

And if we look overseas, at the effects of liberal economic policies in developed democracies, the evidence is overwhelming: more progressive taxation accompanied by more generous social welfare spending is strongly correlated not only with more prosperity in general, but also with better-functioning democratic institutions and more equality of opportunity.
