Our tax dollars pay for all kinds of programs that save lives and improve the quality of life, here and abroad. Hell, look at PEPFAR. Americans’ tax dollars saved 25 million lives from AIDS, mostly in Africa.

Now, there are clear differences between the parties today in terms of who wants to spend money on the poor and middle class, and who wants to give it to the rich. And there are differences within the parties. So vote in the primaries and vote in the general election. Don’t throw up your hands and say they’re both corrupt so fuck it. That’s basically just admitting to them that you don’t care and aren’t paying attention anymore. Then what do you think they’ll do?
