I’m afraid you’ll go in waiting for the hundred dollars, Mark, since:

1) I promised to donate the $100 to the Trump campaign, not give it to the author, and

2) while I appreciate your thoughtful reply, I did not find it convincing. I’ll write a detailed response to each of your points as soon as I can, but for now I’ll just say I find major flaws in all of them that undercut their persuasiveness.

Still, I commend you for the time and effort put into making your case. It’s far more than I’ve come to expect from Trump or his supporters, who seem to think that a mere gestalt shift in political values carries the same weight as rational justifications for specific policies.
