If there’s one thing I’m sure of, it’s that people will go to great lengths to hold on to something important to them. I don’t doubt it would be an adjustment, but the whole history of Christianity is littered with thinkers and theologians who put a new spin on old ideas to keep them relevant.

I think Christianity would adapt.
