I think most of us agree border patrol and immigration courts are underfunded and understaffed. All the money spent on the wall would be much better spent on priorities like that.

And enforcing our labor laws would pay for itself by preventing businesses from dodging payroll taxes they currently are t paying on undocumented workers.

PS I’ve never been to Dalian but I lived in Tianjin for two years. When I think about the demographic cliff that China is staring over, I’m glad we’re much more open to immigrants than they are.
