I feel about Moldbug (Yarvin) the way I feel about Jordan Peterson. He's a poorly-read person's idea of what a well-read person sounds like. As vacuous as they are verbose, but they use a lot of big words, and they use them fast, and they name drop a lot of people you've probably heard about even if you haven't read them, so you end up thinking they must be pretty smart and well-informed. But really it's mostly nonsense. I could barely watch more than a few minutes of Yarvin jawing with Tucker Carlson before my brain started doing an impression of the penultimate scene of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, with all my neurons crying in unison "GET ON WITH IT!"
