I don’t think that’s right. I mean, I don’t quibble with your definition of neoliberalism or your inclusion of Obamacare in that category, though I know plenty of other people have offered different takes on what “neoliberal” means. My point was that the essential premise of libertarianism — that only the free exchange of goods in an unregulated market can produce the highest value — basically rules out democracy on ethical grounds, since democracy necessarily entails interference in the market.
