I discuss the broader concept of “cultural appropriation” as defined by the OED in the article, but argue that it’s impossible to apply the concept in real life. There’s a whole paragraph with questions that people accusing others of cultural appropriation can’t answer, because they don’t have answers that could be applied with anything resembling logical consistency.
