He's just trying to make himself relevant again. I did a two-part series on the major flaws in Peterson's philosophy (his penchant for indulging the Naturalistic Fallacy and his use of esoteric jargon to make it look like he's saying profound things when really he's just being trite, or even just trying to work through ideas he himself isn't clear on).
The only point I'd add is that, yes, anyone who spends a good deal of time with his ideas will discover he's a charlatan, PROVIDED they don't have a non-rational basis for wanting to believe that he's right.
