Hakeem Jeffries has received more votes than any other candidate in the last four rounds of voting. Why should it be up to Democrats to support any Republican candidate who can't get as many votes as their preferred candidate? Why shouldn't five moderate Republicans join the Democrats to name Jeffries Speaker?
