About Me
I was born and raised in the Midwest, but my travels have taken me all over the world. I graduated from law school in 2008 and clerked for two years for the Justices of the Massachusetts Superior Court. After that, I became a stay-at-home dad, taking care of my three sons. When my youngest was old enough for kindergarten, I got my teaching certification in U.S. and World History.
I like to play chess and piano, to read and lift weights. But my real passion is ideas. I'm fascinated by philosophy, religion, art, science, and politics, and I love to write about all these topics. I also host a monthly support group for people who've left their religious communities.
